What a difference a few months makes…
The friends we travelled to Canada with in May have moved to Hawaii. That was nowhere on the radar when we did that little junket, but now they’re gone. The job I had then, working in the Central Washington, gone. The great momentum I had working on my MBA with Western Governors University–well–almost gone.
I’m back to being an “indy” again, as far as work goes. I have a contract with one of Northern California’s biggest healthcare organizations–Sutter Healthcare. And as we move into a new year, it looks like that’s what my work will be, at least for the foreseeable future.
I’m home for a few days during the holiday season, and that suits me fine. You never really realize how much you miss something (and someone) until having that around isn’t an option anymore.
A little Christmas melancholia? Perhaps. PJ’s sleeping here in my lap. I’ve just got my blog up and running again, after a couple of days of technical issues. Good to be home. Good to be here. Now.
